What's New Feature Update - February 2022

Circadian Risk is always working on feature updates and improvements for our risk analysis and assessment software to ensure that the experience while conducting an assessment with Circadian Risk is efficient, effective, and intuitive. Below are the new features in our latest software update for February.

Features in the February 2022 Edition:

Lite Photo Editing (for Assessment Findings)

As we like to say, a picture is worth a thousand words… In that light, pictures can contain a lot information. Wouldn’t it be easier to draw arrows, circle items, and annotate on photos to draw attention directly to the main point of the picture? If this peaks your interest, it sounds like you’ll be getting a lot more out of the photos that are taken during assessments using Circadian Risk. With the Lite Photo Editing feature, you’ll have a lot of different tools to make your photos more impactful. Once a photo is uploaded during the assessment, click on the photo preview, and you’ll have a toolbar full of different options for you to make that photo pop! This also works great on the iPad, with your finger turning into the drawing utensil!

Review + Close - Improved Workflows

We have added additional functionality to the review + close tab for an in progress assessment, to empower users to access information directly, and how they want to. If you’re picking up on an in-progress assessment, and still need to see what has to be done, we now have a number of features that power this page:

  • An “unanswered filter,” to show what questions still needs to be answered, as well as other filters, which show items data the way you’d like

  • Clicking on specific item names will take you directly to it in the perform assessment experience.

  • Provide quick analysis and answers outside of the assessment if that suits your needs.

    • As well as add comments, files/photos, and even recommendations

  • Bulk answering items

Email Notification for Tasks

Circadian Risk has provided email notifications for pertinent actions that have happened within the software, including when a user is assigned to an assessment, and when they’ve been added to a new org, and when assessment deadlines are coming up. To add to the mix, we have now allowed for email notifications when someone is assigned to a particular task for remediation. We will be rolling out more functionality in regard to this feature, but for now, let those mitigators know when and what they need to do to remediate those deficiencies found in assessments!

Longitude/Latitude for Location Coordinates

Within Circadian Risk, we have a lot of location services powering different views. Most notably, when an address is put in for a location, it will appear on the map for the admin-dashboard, as well as the assessment dashboard for when an assessment is opened at that site. However, what if your location is not meant to be given an address, or “off the grid” as one might say? We’ve recently added the ability to add longitude/latitude coordinates to allow for pinpoint accuracy, especially for those more classified locations (if desired).

Table Wide Search

In case you haven’t noticed, our app consists of tons of tables! We have historically offered the ability to filter within an individual column (show me only Paris, let me see all questions that match “camera”). We still have that when you want to filter on a very specific column. But we have noticed it could have been easier to just type into a box right above the table and search all of the columns at once. So we have introduced what we call, “table-wide search” on almost all tables in the application. Just type in your search terms and we will check every column for a match. In our internal use, we’ve found that this is a much more natural way to find what you’re looking for.
