Creating "Location Tags" for Different Location Layers
Circadian Risk allows for location tags to be added to location layers. Location tags can be added to any layer accessible in the organization.
Typically, location tags will be added to buildings to indicate the type of building that they are, what sector/industry they fall in, or their function (office, distribution, production, etc.) or all of the above
Instructions
From the Dashboard, navigate to the Locations Card, and click on “Hierarchy” within the card’s title.
You will be directed to the organization hierarchy page. On this page, you can manage the hierarchical layer system, and add tags to any of these layers. Typically, users will be adding a tag to a building, so select Building, and you will be directed to the next page.
From the Building Layer Settings Page, you can begin to create the buildings tags in which you would like to apply to your locations. Select “Add New” within the Building Tags card, and this will prompt you to enter a create a new tag.
Building Tags are typically used as a label to help signify a certain location’s purpose. Examples of building tags, but aren’t limited to, are:
“Manufacturing Center”
“Office”
“Data Center”
“Distribution Center”
Fill out the location tag you would like to add for this layer. Select “Save” when finished.
You can create as many building tags as you would like, and you will be able to apply them to different buildings within your location hierarchy.
You will be able to apply these tags to different locations within your organization, which have a number of functions when it comes to assessments and data aggregation. Please see the below article for how to apply the location tags that you have just created!
