*Creating Custom Risk Scenarios

This article will explain how to create risk scenarios to conduct inherent and vulnerability risk assessments on.

Custom Scenarios are a permission given on an organization by organization basis. If you would like to create your own scenario, please get in touch with a client success coordinator at support-team@circadianrisk.com.

Written Instructions:

Access the Location Page

  1. Access the Scenario Page

    1. Navigate to the top left corner of the page, and press the 3 white lines to access application navigation.

    2. Select the “Organization Management” option in the navigation, and a dropdown will appear.

      1. Select “Scenarios,” and this will access the Scenarios page.

2. From the top right of the Scenarios page, Select the “Create Custom” button.

3. This will open up an information box that will allow for:
a. Entering the Scenario type (the options are Threat, Hazard, or Compliance)
b. Entering the name of the scenario that is being created
c. Entering the description of what the scenario being created is.
d. Enable partially compliant answers (for during the assessment, % compliance for deficiencies).
e. Setting the thresholds for the scores that will be generated by the inherent risk assessments
i. These thresholds are adjustable.

In order to have tolerance thresholds above 0, you will need to enter at least one probability factor, and one severity factor for inherent risk. To review how to complete this step, view this article about Adjusting Inherent Risk Variables:

4. Once finished, select “Save,” and the scenario will be generated.
