Utilizing Voice to Text While Conducting Assessments

This article will guide an assessor how to utilize voice to text if they would like to talk out their notes and recommendations while using the Circadian Risk tool.

  1. If not already enabled, navigate to settings on the iPad

     

  2. To activate the voice to text feature:
    1. Type “dictation” in the settings search bar
    2. The iPad will pre-populate an option that is “Enable Dictation.” Select this and it will navigate to the keyboard page
    3. Scroll down further on this Keyboards page to find the setting “Enable Dictation,” and activate dictation.

     

  3. Now, in any area of the Circadian Risk tool you can type, there will now be a microphone that is located in the bottom portion of the keyboard. When selected, any speech will be converted to text.
