Circadian Risk is always working on feature updates and improvements for our security assessment software to ensure that the experience while conducting an assessment with Circadian Risk is efficient, effective, and intuitive. Below are the new features in our latest software update for July 2021.

Features in the July 2021 Edition:

Corrective Action Plans with StrategiesTM

At last, Circadian Risk has dropped our first release of the Corrective Action Plan and Strategies. Once an assessor has completed an assessment, the Corrective Action Plan will allow for an in-depth analysis of the deficiencies identified for that assessment. Assessors, analysts, and decision-makers alike will have the ability to:

  • Filter data to see organization wide assessments, or down to a specific assessment at a location

  • Create tasks to bundle deficiencies for remediation

  • Set priorities for these created tasks

  • Apply costs to specific remediations

  • Assign due dates, time estimates, and persons responsible for the work-orders

  • Check in on the progress of tasks, re-assess answers, and close out once completed

The Location Manager Permission

As a part of Circadian Risk’s expanded permissions initiative, our first down payment is the Location Manager Permission. With this new permission, your security managers throughout your organization can be given a focused view of the locations and information that are relevant to them. The options here are quite abundant, having the ability to assign specific regions, campuses, and even down to specific buildings or levels. The main takeaways:

  • Location Managers will have access to the locations page for the locations they have been specifically assigned to

  • Location Managers will be able to create assessments at the locations they have been assigned, as well as see all assessments that they have been assigned to

    • They will also be able to create and see tasks that that are at their assigned locations

Assessment Dashboard Update

The assessment page has now received a nice makeover… With the edition of the “Assessment Dashboard,” this has enabled a more visual experience of where an organization’s assessment locations are, and the assessments that are taking place at them. With the new interactive map that gives users a “global view,” obtaining statuses of the assessments that have been created, are being currently conducted, and have been completed are available right from your fingertips. Equipped with pre-made and customizable filters, this dashboard will allow for digesting and extracting the exact information you need about your assessments.

Email Reminders for Assessments

Is that due date for your unfinished assessment inching closer, and you’re needing to notify your assessors? Circadian Risk will now send email reminders at 30, 14, 7, and 1 day intervals before the due date for a particular assessment. “But that interval is a bit spaced out for my needs…” No worries! There is also the ability to send an “on-the-fly” reminder at any moment, and you can even choose which assessors will receive that email! Just access the assessment page you need to send a reminder for, and fire those reminders off!

Not interested in receiving email reminders for assessments? Reach out to support-team@circadianrisk.com, and we would be happy to disable them for your organization.

Location Page Update

The assessment dashboard isn’t the only thing in the Circadian Risk platform that has received some attention… With the new location page update, users will now be able to access all their location information from tabs that have categorized where information has been bucketed into, instead of having a single page where this information was housed. The three tabs included in this new view are:

  1. Location Overview

    • A high level overview of assessments for that location, Corrective Action Plan and deficiency information, and the residual risk that is observed at that location for the 3 types of scenarios

  2. Scenario Overview

    • All of your scenario information, whether it be compliance, hazard, or threat, now has a dedicated tab. From this page, assessors can conduct inherent risk assessments, evaluate their “high priority” risks/scenarios, and even create new assessments for those individual scenarios

  3. Location Profile

    • Everything an assessor or person would need to know about the building will be available in this tab. View the assessors and managers that are assigned to access for this location, view the children nodes for this location

    • Even view location property information, files and documents, floor plans, and history as well
