With the new Location Manager permission, Organization Admins can now assign specific people to oversee a particular location, or a number of specific locations in the organization.
Specific permission examples include:
access to only one specific building
access to a whole slew of buildings on a campus
access to a whole region and its campuses.
Instructions
From the Dashboard, navigate to the sidebar dropdown (three white bars) in the top left of the page
From here, select App Navigation, and from this dropdown, select Locations
Select the node you would like to give specific access to the assessor.
On the Building Profile tab, select “Edit Users” on the Managers Card on the right side of the page.
This will pull up a modal that has the users with the Assessor Permission, that can now be assigned as Location Managers. Select the user that will become a Location Manager for these locations.
For the node that the assessor is assigned, they will inherit all the child locations below the selected node.
If Region - West is selected, each location below this Region - West will be available for access for this new Location Manager. But, the user will ONLY have access to that specific location they are assigned.
There are 3 regions in this organization, but the new location manager will only see the single region that they have been assigned, and the nodes they don’t have access to are grayed out. (This users view is pictured below).
