With the new Location Manager permission, Organization Admins can now assign specific people that are organization members to oversee a particular location, or a number of specific locations in the organization.

Info

Specific permission examples include:

  • access to only one specific building

  • access to a whole slew of buildings on a campus

  • access to a whole region and its campuses, buildings, and levels.

Note

For the location layer that the assessor is assigned, they will inherit access for all the child locations below the selected node.

If a Campus is selected, each location below this Campus will be available for access for this Location Manager. But, the user will ONLY have access to that specific campus and locations below it they are assigned.

There are 3 campuses in this organization, but the new location manager will only see the single campus that they have been assigned, and the nodes they don’t have access to are grayed out.
